Many people are asking about when we will be returning to in-person worship services in the building. This question is especially pressing as we approach Easter Sunday on April 4.

It was difficult last year to not be able to worship in our building on Easter Sunday. Many hope that this won’t repeat this year.

Our leadership has looked at the issues, both of keeping people physically safe and considering the emotional and spiritual needs.

After careful consideration, it was agreed that we are not quite ready to return to in-person worship services. While some people are eager to return, it was felt that it would be better for the congregation as a whole to wait, especially until we know more about the new strains.

HOWEVER, it was also agreed that Easter Sunday is special, with the resurrection of Jesus being central to our faith. While we do not regret our decision for 2020, it would be difficult to repeat the situation from last year.

Therefore, we believe that we have come up with a good compromise. We have decided that we will have an in-person worship service for Easter Sunday with a limited number. Only twenty people will be allowed to be present and they must pre-register with their intent to be there. You can do this by calling the office at 905-684-6264 or by emailing Pastor Steve.

If you have any concern about the risk, please plan to stay home and watch the service from home. This is for those who are most eager to return and are least at risk. Staying home does not make one less of a Christian.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Pastor Steve.
