Churches and Vaccines Passports

As you may know, there is a requirement in Ontario for people to present proof of double vaccination to enter into public places. Some people have asked how that affects churches and specifically Queen Street Baptist Church.

Churches are currently exempt from the vaccine passports and so we will not be requiring proof of vaccination to enter the building or to participate in worship.

Having said that, I do encourage those who have not been vaccinated to strongly consider it. If you have concerns about the safety of the vaccine, please talk to your family doctor about it.

If the lack of vaccine passports for churches worries you, be assured that we want you to feel safe. There are some people in our congregation who continue to watch the services online because of the ongoing pandemic. That is a completely valid way to participate in worship.
