What is Happening With the Christmas Eve Service?

Please note that since the writing of this post, we have decided to go online only with the Christmas Eve service.

All we can say for certainty is that there will be a Christmas Eve Service. With the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, we cannot say for certain what changes the next week will bring.

The current plan is to have an in-person Christmas Eve Service in the church building on December 24 at 7:00 pm. It will look somewhat different from previous years because of safety precautions. We are also not advertising widely outside of the congregation, because we want to be careful with numbers.

If we are required to close our church building, we will record a service and share it on Christmas Eve. We also hope to livestream the in-person service, if that still happens.

While this Christmas is ideal, when we look at the first Christmas, much of those circumstances were less than ideal. What matters is that Jesus has entered into our world.
